The PortSea is one of the most easily recognised resorts in Australia and it is frequently featured in advertising campaigns by the Stellla Hospitality Group.

The resort was built in 2001 and most rooms were refurbished in 2007 when the property was upgraded to the prestigious Mantra brand (from BreakFree). Resort guests are expecting to to stay in a refurbished unit, and prefer lagoon pool views.

The carefree holiday environment at the PortSea revolves around water. There are three swimming pools - the large central lagoon pool features a swim-up pool bar, water slide, spas and waterfalls. The Four Mile Beach is only 150 metres away, perfect for an early morning walk along the beach.

There's also a fully equipped fitness studio, tennis court, internet room and the onsite PortSea Beauty & Body Salon.


Description of Unit 39

Unit 39 is situated one level above the main pool with great views, the unit is bright and airy with great holiday appeal.

    • One bed studio rooms are popular because they feature a spa bath and private balcony as well as a kitchenette.
    • Other features include air conditioning, ceiling fans, DVD and Austar (selected pay-tv channels)
    • Guests pay a premium rates for the select rooms that overlook the lagoon pool
    • Annual Income > $17,500 (less Body Corporate and Council Rates) provides owner with an attractive Net Return
    • Owners are entitled to two weeks use of the unit each year
    • Unit 39 was fully refurbished in July 2007
